A project is a temporary effort to create a unique product. The goal of a project is to deliver the
product (scope) within the
estimated cost and time. The critical chain is the constraint to achieving this goal. TOC analysis of
projects suggests that
projects that complete within the shortest possible time also tend to deliver full scope and remain
within budgeted cost.
