What are reality trees?

Reality trees are pictorial representations of cause-effect logic that lead to effects observed or hoped to be observed in an organization. The Current Reality Tree ( C RT ) describes the organization as it is now, starting with observed Undesired Effects ( UDEs ). The Future Reality Tree ( FRT ) describes organizations as we wish them to be, where the undesired effects are converted to Desired Effects ( DEs ) through the inclusion of Injections: changes to reality.
